Back From Vietnam Ho Chi Minh

Sorry for not updating this blog for 5 days as I am away on a vacation with my wife and a group of friends.

Throughout these 5 days vacation, we had a great time as we visited beautiful places and eat good food. If you guys are planning to go on a Vietnam Tour, these are places that I strongly recommend.

• Ben Thanh Market – This is a place where you can buy a lot of cheap stuff like T-shirt, vietnam coffee beans or powder, lacquer wares and many more.  One thing you need to note is to bargain, there are some things that I bought by bargaining the price to 50%. (Imagine how much you are losing out if you don’t bargain)
• Meinu Beach – This is vietnam resort city as there are a lot of resorts that are concentrated in that area. You can go kite surfing, swimming, watch sunrise at white sand dune, see their fishing village, walk through the fairy stream. A good place to relax.
• Discounted Branded Goods – I am talking about branded stuff from the boutiques. You can get 30 to 50% discount on selected items at Gucci stores, D&G, Versaces and many other branded shops. This could be due to the low spending power of the locals that leads to them having to give huge discount to attract buyers.
• Vietnam Coffee – (MUST TRY!) If you are a coffee lover like me, you will definitely love their coffee. They are smooth, rich and aromatic.

I will post some of the photos that is taken there to share with you how beautiful this place is. One thing bad about vietnam is that the people there hardly understand English and this makes things quite tough when it comes to ordering food and buying stuff. Besides that, vietnam is a good place to visit. (Do consider when you are planning your next holiday!)
